Mariposa Preschool participates in a Nutrition Program provided through Comprehensive Child Development Inc. This program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in partnership with the California State Department of Education. This program helps licensed family child care providers serve nutritious meals daily to children in their care. Its primary duty is to ensure that children are being cared for outside of their home while providing them with the opportunity to live a balanced and healthy life by encouraging proper nutrition while also preventing any health issues directly related to a poor diet.
